What's a Festool Junkie?
One who has an insatiable interest or devotion: a Festool junkie.
If you are already a Festool owner, you know exactly what I'm talkin' about with the definition above; it is EXTREMELY difficult to own just one Festool. If you have more than one, you are probably already a Festool Junkie. The tools and accessories are just that good. Once you bring home a Festool to the shop, you will indeed need another to compliment it. The hard-core Festool Junkies usually name their tools.
Festool is second to none when it comes to getting the job done. Not only will Festool get the job done more efficiently, you will get it done quicker, cleaner, and you will definitely look better than your neighbor doin' it.
To get the full "buzz" of Festool, it is best to get hooked up into the "the system". Each tool standing alone is awesome; but putting a saw, router, or sander with a vacuum (a system) is the ideal way to fully unleash the power of Festool in the shop. Utilizing specific tools for specialized jobs is also what separates Festool from all the others. The old adage, "...you need look at the whole as a sum of its parts." That may sound a bit deep to some, but to a Festool junkie, and to really get the full effect of Festool, and to be one with your Festool products, you can't afford not to get with the program.
