Festool MFT/3 Multi-Function Table
When Festool goes to improve on an already proven tool, that''s exactly what they did with the MFT.
When word hit the street that the Festool MFT 800 and the MFT 1080 were going away, panic and speculation ruled in the forums. The MFT has become a staple for the Festool Junkie. The attributes it provided was essential to many; cutting, clamping, routing, you name it...it was the epitomy of versatility. Well, chalk up another win for Festool.
The newly overhauled MFT/3 is all that and a bag of chips. More stable, more versatile, and ready for more new accessories down the road. One can only imagine what they will come up with.

The angle arm / miter guage / thing on the top, has been greatly enhanced. The support lent to the angle arm from the side profiles are huge. The angle unit swivels two directions and can be place upright (for taller pieces), or laid down like the original bar....very nice improvement. Furthermore, the angle guage can be moved forward or backwards to provide more work surface.
The table itself is much sturdier and will provide better stability. The additional supports will only enhance the stability.
Festool, nicely done!!!!!!!
