Rubin paper rocks when it comes to wood. I've let a couple of friends borrow my Rotex and they've both commented on how quickly this paper cleans up a bandsawn board or a rough board you just milled with a chain saw mill! Best part about Festool paper is it alows the dust collector to catch 99% of the dust and the 9 hole configuration with Festool patented Jet Stream technology keeps your paper from clogging so you'll get more life out of Festool paper compared to other brands. If you plan on stripping paint with Rubin don't bother. Get the Cristal instead. The Rubin heats up too much and the paint gums up making the paper ineffective. Get some Cristal for that and once you've stripped the paint use the Rubin
