Festool Router OF 1400 EQ Pimped Out with (Model No.: Pimped Out F)
Festool Routers with all the
router accessories The Festool OF 1400 EQ is by far the most versatile of the three Festool Routers.
This bundle will cover the most popular/necessary accessories to pimp-out the 14.
The Festool OF 1400 edge guide provides excellent dust collection with the dust hood
: and the long "wings" of the guide provide excellent lateral support.
The guide stop/rail connector has a tandem type connection to the Festool guide rals. The stationary part of the guide stop hooks into the rail. The second part of the stop then hooks into the stationary part. You can micro
adjust the router by turning the "green" dial shown between the two parts...very slick. The guide stop comes with the support foot. The support foot is a kewl little deal, as it provide support for the right side of the router.
You need it due to the fact that without it, your router would "lean" because your rail is higher than the workpiece. Look at the pic and see how the router is on the rail? The support foot provides exactly that; support on the outside of the router so it doesn't lean....capiche?
So here's the Bundle:
Festool Router OF 1400 EQ (574267) - $405.00
Festool Edge Guide for the OF1400 (492636) - $58.00
Festool Guide Stop for the OF 1400 (492601) - $63.00
There are several other very kewl accessories that I think you should look at.
They aren't included in the package, but if you are doing more specific work with your router, you owe it to yourself to at least click 'em. The Festool Table Widener for the OF 1400
in my opinion is an awesome accessory, especially if you are doing edge work. It is definately on my router to stay. I have NOT included it in the bundle, but you may want to consider it!
Festool Angle Arm (486052) allows you to connect the Festool Copier Scanner (486534).
With these two little gems you can do copy patterns with excellent precision. Make a template, and copy it with these two items attached to the router....very slick. You have to use
these two in conjunction with each other. Lastly is the Festool Edging Plate. This item allows you to turn your router on it's side to do egde work. It simply provides vertical support when you are using your router horizontally.
