The junkie take on this D-Handle Jigsaw is; most Jigsaws in the US are sold as d-handle I must admit that the saw at times can have a difficult site line with the chip guard on. However, although not recommended, it snaps off easily to allow for discriminant work.

Get some extra zero clearance inserts, and take perpendicular cuts, guaranteed, without tear out.

This could very well be Festool's best deal.
