This was my first ever Festool and it didn't take me long to realize this company was something special!!

I picked up my TS-55 while on my way to work. When I got there the carpenter/building maintenance supervisor dude was in the shop and asked to see it. I pulled it out and we played around with it. He was impressed so much so that when he was commissioned to build the Boardroom table he requested my manager to let me help him with the TS-55.

The saw made building the 10 foot table a snap. Everybody was impressed including co-workers who stopped into the shop to either visit or critique our work.

Now that I have the saw several people have wanted me to help build their woodworking projects. I don't have the time for that so I've been lending the saw out to friends and they feel like pro's with the perfect cuts and lack of tearout on sheet goods.

I've discovered this saw is capable of cutting dado's by simply laying the guide rail across your project and cutting both sides followed by cleaning up the middle.

The small compact size and near perfect dust collection are prefect in the laundry room where my shop resides.

I highly recommend you give a long hard look at a Festool or Fein vac for this saw cause it is a pain to always be starting and stopping the vac by hand everytime you make a cut. Besides, you'll end up buying the vac anyhow further down the road so you might as well get it now.
