Our friend in New Hampshire called in to request a sander and vacuum package that included a Festool Cleaning Kit for clean up around the shop as well. Portability was important as well for on-site tasks. With this package, all systainers can stack on the CT 22 and our friend can roll onto the jobsite with a professional appearance.

This is actually a pretty slick little set-up. The Y-Blanking piece allows "worker dude to plug in two hoses simultaneously, or, one hose and plug the other port. With the Tradesman Kit having a D36 hose, this is the best of both world. There is no need for adapters. The D27 hose that comes with the CT 22 will connect to all future sander purchases, and the D36 will hook into any tool acquisitions in the future (over the tools dust port rather than into it).
