Festool Junkie and Bowclamp Join Up; A very good caul indeed!

What do they say, “_____ are the best invention since sliced bread”? The reality is, that Craig, the Bowclamp dude has done it for us…Thank You Craig. I tried once to make a set of cauls for a project, but the reality of it was, I didn’t have the time, or the tools, or the space in the shop to get them to turn out as good as Craig at Bowclamp. Furthermore, it cost me a bunch to “tool up” to make two exactly alike so they would distribute the pressure like a good caul should. it should be? Once again, I didn’t have the time to mill these types of things, and I wish I would have know about these jobbies then. Bowclamps are indeed a precision tool, and will soon become to be a necessary tool in the LHTC arsenal.
The applications of the Bowclamp are not limited to simple edge joinery. The clamps can
be used for things like:
Veneer pressing,
Carcass assembly tool,
Face Frame Installation,
Edge Banding,
or how about Laminations without using 12 or so clamps…on a 4 foot glue up, one one each end of the Bowclamp will do, or even use it without clamps by using wedges between fixed boards or dogs.
Make sure to watch these videos, and tell me these are the most simple solutions to very
common methods of work around your shop.
